In essence CIVIL-ISATION is really about 'being' not 'doing'. 

Also it is not an organisation but an initiative to bring understanding individuals together. It celebrates an ideal that can live within each of us and how we chose to act as a result is up to our conscience. 

It is often said that modern society lacks a 'communal myth'; a story that unites it. By clarifying the parameters of mature behaviour and allowing us to cooperate around it, we can act more wisely and effect positive change for ourselves and on behalf of every living creature that inhabits our precious planet.
